Championship Fight Card

I've been involved in the development of a gaming engine for some of the social networks. While its not the kind of game I originally anticipated creating I think its a great example of what you can do when you put your mind to it.

Based around the idea of cage fighting, its a strategy based game that requires some thought into creating and developing a fighter with the ultimate goal of fighting in The Octagon and becoming a weight class champion. As you fight you can unlock new moves, new styles, and train up both your attributes and special moves to make you a better fighter. In time more moves and more styles will be added. At the moment you can select Boxing, Karate, Muay-Thai (Kickboxing), and Jailhouse Rock.

The other developers are people I have known from the gaming industry for several years now and we had thrown ideas around almost monthly before we finally had this epiphony. Expect to see more games in this format in the coming months, including Wrestling and Roman Gladiatorial Combat. Until then head on over to
Championship Fight Card, sign up and join the beta test.
